Meet Scottsdale Dentist Dr. Stephan Abedi, DDS
My passion for creation and artistry has led me to the world of dentistry. There is no better satisfaction than to help someone receive the care they thought was never possible and create functional, healthy and beautiful smiles that are timeless. It has been an extremely fulfilling road.
I was accepted to UCLA with a full scholarship. I graduated from UCLA in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a broad background in Psychology and then continued to USC to receive my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2001. I moved to Arizona in 2001 and started my private practice in Scottsdale with a focus on cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry. My professional affiliations include, but are not limited to, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association and the Arizona Dental Association.
In order to provide the best for our patients, I have created a team that can meet anyone’s dental needs. Dr. Ardalan, a leader in restorative dentistry, Dr. Shahlaie, Board certified Periodontist and Implant Surgeon and my brother, Dr. Babak Abedi, who is the Medical Director at the office.
Dr. Babak Abedi is a recent addition to our office. Due to the broad overlap between dentistry and medicine, I wanted the direct influence of an expert in the field. Dr. Babak Abedi attended the University of Berkeley to receive his Bachelor of Arts Degree. He then continued to UCSD for his M.D. and then to John Hopkins University for his specialty in General Anesthesia.
What we offer at our practice is unique – Comprehensive Care Team Approach. Any procedure possible in dentistry is available to you with the best Doctors in the field. In addition we have taken a step further and offer Botox Cosmetic, Fillers (Restylane) and Laser Hair Removal to enhance the face as a whole. IV sedation is available to you for comfort, so that all you remember is coming in and when you are ready to leave.
