Oral Sedation

Oral sedation is used mostly on our pediatric patients. It makes them comfortable and creates a safe environment to have their treatment completed. It can turn multiple appointments into a single visit. It is usually combined with Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) for optimum comfort. The patient will take the sedation medication in a syrup format at the office. Children usually start relaxing in 10-20 minutes and their treatment can get started.

Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous Oxide, also known as "Laughing Gas", is an effective way to reduce anxiety during dental treatment. This produces minimal amount of relaxation when compared to IV or Oral sedation. This is ideal for cooperative pediatric patients, or any patient that has had it in the past with a favorable anxiolysis. Local Anesthesia

Local anesthesia is used for most procedures in dentistry for comfort.
